2/ Creating sharing moments with the Moroccan people

The Rallye du Maroc has a duty to return some of the pleasure it receives from being welcomed by Morocco to the people, by creating various opportunities with free access.

First of all, public events:

  • In the city where the rally starts: the presentation of the teams and competitors on the eve of the 1st stage, followed by the Rallye du Maroc Festival, a giant concert bringing together stars of international renown and Moroccan/African stars.
  • Depending on the event configuration and the immediate proximity of a major city on the route, Rallye du Maroc concert.
  • In 2024, a major free concert in Marrakech’s Jemaa el Fna square, with major artists and over 50,000 spectators.

Activities in aid of local associations or schools, with preparatory themed content worked on in class, to give participants the opportunity to experience the Rally from the inside out for a day, supervised by the rally’s organisation staff: a visit to a point on a special stage, lunch at the Bivouac, meetings with competitors in the assistance park, with perhaps the chance to bump into a rally-raid star or a celebrity visiting the Rallye du Maroc that day.

From 2023, 3 different associations will benefit from this scheme.

In 2024, more than 200 children, secondary school pupils and university students will be involved:

Football activities with Adil Rami and pupils from Kick Off Marrakech
Presentation by Mathieu Baumel, co-pilot and professional car driver, to university students at Mohammed VI Polytechnic University in Benguerir
Basketball activities at the inauguration of the changing rooms on the multi-sports pitch at Draâ College, Zagora, with young people from the school
Visit to the Zagora bivouac by a class from Draâ College
Visit to the Zagora bivouac by a group of autistic and Down’s syndrome children from a centre in Zagora. Group accompanied by Adriana Karembeu
Visit by all the classes from the Mengoub school to the Mengoub – Bouârfa bivouac and donation of school supplies, clothes, games and books collected by the whole of the Morocco Rally caravan.

For each edition, personalities from the artistic world and other sporting disciplines honor us with their visit. What they have in common is their attachment to the country, their curiosity to discover Morocco’s No. 1 motorsport event and the will to make themselves available, much to the delight of the spectators or members of the beneficiary associations.

On the 2024 edition, the Rallye du Maroc received a visit from Teddy Riner, freshly crowned gold medallist at the Paris Olympics, during the General Briefing, as well as Adil Rami, 2018 World Football Champion with the French national team, Adriana Karembeu, ambassador for the French Red Cross, supported the medical caravan throughout the operation in Zagora, not forgetting her visit to the Zagora bivouac with a group of disabled children.

Some celebrities who can’t make themselves available send us their “Special dedication to the Rallye du Maroc” video teaser before each event, as a friendly greeting and message of support.

These actions with the stars are also an opportunity for the Rallye du Maroc to open itself to other horizons and communities.

A number of personalities attending the RDM Festival have also sent us short videos to tell us how much they are looking forward to performing at the event. Here are some of the personalities from the 2024 edition:
