David Castera says: “At my instigation we put in place separate routes in the Dakar. As a motorcycle racer, and more recently as a co-driver, I am only too aware of the problems that arise from the co-existence between two types of vehicles on the same track. I want to offer everyone the freedom of following the rally route without having to worry about the presence of other vehicles.” That’s why for this edition of the Rallye du Maroc we have created different routes of all the different categories.

- Starts and finishes will always be the same for all categories, as will be the first and last 25 kilometres.
- While retaining the ambiance of a traditional rally, with all categories represented, this measure allows everyone to race in safety and serenity without the stress of being overtaken by a vehicle from another category or riding/driving in their dust.
