INTRODUCTION

Sustainable development and the Rally of Morocco are closely linked to each other, we are above all guided by conviction and values without worrying about qualifying the approach.

In fact, since David Castéra took over the Rallye du Maroc in 2018, his approach is as follows: “The Rally enjoys a tremendous welcome from both the Kingdom and the Moroccans. We owe it to ourselves to be united and at our modest level to make a return that directly benefits the population.”

The documentary produced after each Rally edition, since 2019, is a good illustration of this state of mind.

Therefore, since 2018, ODC has led a real policy of sustainable development in relation to local authorities and population, that will be strengthened from edition to edition, together with the participation of the main partners of the event Afriquia, Maroc Telecom and OCP Group, but also with the participation of the entire Rallye du Maroc caravan by associating the teams, competitors and media.

ODC’s guidelines are based on the 3 fundamental pillars of sustainable development: economic, social and environment.

Each component gives rise to concrete and visible actions whose motto is to generate a return for the Kingdom and the Moroccan people.

The Rallye du Maroc is a great showcase to promote Morocco, the dynamics of the companies associated with the event, the sense of hospitality and the warmth of Moroccans. In addition, it is even more important that the sporting event is also seen as an opportunity to carry out these sustainable and united actions, to convey a positive message that, perhaps, will lead to other initiatives.
